Room for rent | Allison Street NW, Washington, DC, USA

New Listing

Hi, my name is Sasha. I am looking for someone to take my spot on my lease. We have a quaint room available in a spacious Petworth/th St Heights row home with availability starting . You will be taking my place on the lease and joining the remaining roommates on a new year-long lease September 1st. When the new lease goes into effect, the rent for this room will increase to $/month. You would be sharing the house with three roommates, all of whom are women in their mid s. All three are welcoming, BIPOC and LGBTQ+ friendly roommates who strive to maintain a positive and inclusive environment. While everyone is quite busy and runs on different schedules, we are all friendly with one another and like to chat in the kitchen and living room together when we cross paths. All roommates prioritize cleanliness and prefer a calm, quiet environment. We take covid/illness safety seriously and kindly ask that only fully vaccinated individuals express interest. The bath house is spacious and includes a large dining room, downstairs sunroom, living room, and attic as well as a beautiful back porch and backyard with lots of space for gardening. You would be sharing a bathroom with two of the roommates. The shared areas are currently furnished but there’s some room for additional furniture if you’d like. The house has central AC, and we have solar panels so the electricity costs are very low. Professional cleaning services are included in the cost of rent, but roommates share cleaning responsibilities to maintain the shared space. Unfortunately pets are not allowed. The house is managed by a local landlord who lives about a mile away and is responsive to maintenance requests. I’ve enjoyed living here, the only reason I’m moving is because I am starting grad school and want to move closer to campus! If you’re interested, please fill out this quick form:
