Hi there! We are looking for a roommate for our guest room in our bath Venice home. It is me and my 9 year old daughter, who is here most days for some amount of time but only spends nights a week here. It is a lovely, old, Venice home in a nice neighborhood about half a mile from abbot Kinney and just over a mile to the beach. Perfect distance away from the craziness, just close enough when you need it. We have a large backyard (brick) with outdoor living, ping pong table, and a parking space if need be although there’s usually plenty of street parking. A nice front yard with turf, nice plant life and a tree swing. Dogs are allowed and in fact we’d love someone with a dog as our old pup has recently passed on. Our last roomie had a dog that we took wonderful care of and we also dog sit for friends fairly regularly. Looking for someone fun, friendly and undoubtedly good with kids and dogs. Hey!I recently moved out of my old house at th Pl. in the Westchester neighborhood and I am looking to sublet my room for the school year!I truly enjoyed living there, and the only reason I don’t live there anymore is because I found room at my aunt’s house, so I chose free living over anything else.However, the room is still relatively cheap, with a base price of a month; with utilites (gas, water, electricity, wifi) its around , but there are also other money-saving pros, such as free parking on the street, and it is within a mile of campus. Its also located right next to a number of grocery stores, and the neighborhood is relatively safe. There was more closet space than I ever needed, and although the room itself is relatively small, I was able to fit a lot of furniture and have some room to breathe in there.
