Room for rent | Skillman Avenue, Brooklyn, NY, USA

Room w/ Private Bath Close to the L

Room available starting May 1st in a -bathroom apartment, but with only two of the bedrooms used. We can use the remaining bedroom as a fitness room or as storage. You'll also have a private full bathroom that's attached to your bedroom, and your room has two large windows. We also have a backyard! The entrance is connected to my room, but you're able to get to it through the basement and can use it whenever you'd like. The apartment is close to the Graham Ave stop of the L (about a 6 minute walk). My roommate has been living here for years, and I've lived here for almost three years. He's moving out and will be taking most of his furniture with him, so we'll be replacing things like the couch and TV, and I can cover most or all of the cost of that, but we can talk about bringing your own common area furniture if you have it. The landlord will also be giving it a fresh coat of paint at the end of the month. You'll be signing the lease with me, which starts on May and ends December . We will then be able to renew with a -month lease starting January , so long-term tenants are welcome. There is a dedicated parking spot, which we can rent out to offset our rent, or if you have a car I'd ask you to pay somewhat more for the use of the parking space.I don't have any pets, but would be open to living with a well-behaved cat or dog.I'm a /M that's working in the sustainable energy field and work from home, but I'm very often working from coffee shops or other locations. I'm also doing a master's program at NYU, so I'm spending a good amount of my time in my room working & studying and prefer an overall quiet environment, but no problem with having people over, etc. if we're all considerate of each other. Please message me with your information, or fill out this form (), and I'll reach out so you can see the place.
