We’re a gay couple, both , and each started our own business within the past year. Douglas is a longtime Charlotte native, and Eric moved here from Louisiana about ten years ago. We share the home with our pets—a black lab mix named Appa and a shorthair cat named Diamond. Appa free-roams but usually stays near us. Diamond has his own room upstairs and roams only when Appa is away. Both are friendly, socialized, and fully our responsibility.We’re quiet, easygoing, into good food, and work most days. Evenings are usually spent cooking and winding down with a show.
