I have a bedroom available in SE Portland that will open up on September 1st.Duplex style split home. Two bedroom with one full bath, small dining area, living room, kitchen, outside deck, two car driveway. The house has central air and we have an in unit washer and dryer.The larger of the two bedrooms is available to rent. It has a decent sized closet, with a hanger rod and shelves in it. The windows are fairly large in that bedroom and get decent light.We also get really good light in the living room and kitchen area.One full bath and there is lots of storage space in there as well, and in the basement for extra storage if needed.The house is very well insulated. In the summer if we keep the blinds closed all day the temperature does not rise too much and we only really use the AC when it is high ’s and nineties. Same with heating the house in the winter, we do not raise the heat too much so as long as all the windows stay closed it stays toasty easily throughout the day and night.Area:Walking distance to Trader Joe’s, keeper coffee, Walgreens, and Gladstone pub (my personal favorite, long live The Stone).There are two main bus lines on the street one going north to south and one going toward Downtown and back.There are biking trails near by and we aren’t far from Reed College and the Portland Rhododendron garden and Johnson creek.
