Hi, my roommate Billy & I have a nice, medium-sized room available for rent in our 3BR duplex in Prospect Heights. The lease starts September 1st & is for 1 yr w/the option to renew. As a kicker, the apartment is rent-stabilized. The room is quiet, has floor-to-ceiling windows, gets plenty of sun (south facing), fits a queen bed, desk, bookcase, & wardrobe. I live downstairs in the basement & Billy lives upstairs in a room across from yours. The apartment has 2 floors w/a sunny private balcony on your floor & windows looking out into a small courtyard. We're on the ground floor in the back of the building, so it's tranquil, private, & safe. We have an in-unit washer & dryer. I’m in my mid/late ’s & Billy is in his mid/late ’s. Our current roommate is moving out to live with his significant other so we’re looking for the right person asap. I’m friendly but also tend to work and keep to myself a lot at this stage in life. We’re looking for friendly and honest people who are generally relaxed, good communicators, treat the place well, use common sense, & aren’t in the party stage of life (although friendly!)  Essentially, we try to keep it loose/live & let live within reason. Working from home is easy given the space. One thing to note is the downstairs bedroom does not have a wall/door, just stairs, so please be mindful the downstairs is a bedroom only. The apartment is off of Washington, which is full of restaurants, bars, & coffee shops. There are 4 grocery stores within a -minute walk, and we are a -minute walk from Prospect Park, the Brooklyn Museum, & Brooklyn Botanical Garden. The Clinton Washington A/C stop is a -min walk away, & the B, Q, , and 5 are within a -minute walk. There is a Citibike station on the corner. Payments/apps go through our landlord. Beautiful two bedroom apartment steps away from Halsey street L. Located on Bushwick-Ridgewood boarder there are plenty of things to do. In need of a clean, respectful roommate who will pay rent on time. Bathroom will need to be cleaned weekly on a rotated schedule and common areas are to be kept clean. Besides that I’m pretty chill.
