Large double by Reading station

Room for rent | Oscar Wilde Road, Reading, England, United Kingdom

Hello! I’m looking for a young professional housemate to replace my current housemate of three years as he is buying his own place. The room is a very large double room with an en-suite and enough space to work from home, it’s also away from the living room. The flat is a very decent size for two people and includes an open-plan living room/kitchen area and a generous balcony, it is a minute walk to the station but there is a bus that can get you there in less than 5 minutes if you prefer that. There are pubs and gyms within a 5 minute walk as well as a large supermarket.All-in (rent, bills and council tax it’s around £ a month each to live here) I’m an IT professional that spends some weekends out socialising and some in playing the PlayStation. I mostly spend my week working from home days (this is likely to reduce to soon) and in the gym or out at band practice in the evenings. I’ve made life-long friends with my current housemate and I’m happy to include any housemate on any trips to the pub I might embark on if that’s your sort of thing. Equally, if you’d rather be left alone and just have a bit of a chat when we cross paths in the living room or kitchen I’m happy to respect your space.I’m trying to save to buy a house in the next few and I’m keen to stay in this flat as I find it to be a perfect all-rounder for my profession and goals. It’d be good to find someone who is like-minded and somewhat normal. If you are interested please reach out and I’d like to meet you in person to get an idea of your character.I look forward to meeting youJosh
