Hi, my name is Jillian. I am a -year-old undergraduate at the University of Colorado Colorado Springs and I am looking for roommates for this fall. A couple other girls and I have chosen a house that we would like to sign a lease for, but are hoping to find at least one more roommate before we do so to make it more affordable. The lease would be from August (rooms available August 1). It is a bathroom house in the Cragmor neighborhood directly across from the UCCS campus. Rent is $ a month before utilities, so with four roommates it would be $/mo (not including utilities.) If we can get all the bedrooms filled, it would be around $/mo per person before utilities! We are LGBTQIA+ friendly but are not looking for male roommates or couples. The other two girls are not students and work in the area, so students or non-students is totally fine! We will have two cats and occasional foster dogs in the home so we are not comfortable with any more animals in the home. We plan to have a relatively quiet living space (no large parties or excessive noise) but we may have occasional gatherings with friends. Heavy drinking or drug use in the house is not welcome, but we like to go out on the weekends together to bars/parties/etc. We like to have fun and hope to form close friendships with the people we end up living with, but want to prioritize maintaining a respectful and comfortable environment for everyone. Other things to note are that overnight guests are fine on occasion but shouldn't be a constant thing and we will have a weekly/monthly chore chart that everyone will be expected to make together and participate in.
