Hello! I’m Kerry, a friendly, responsible, considerate, minimalist looking for a place to call home for the next year. I’ve worked as a registered nurse for over years and spent four years as a high school teacher. I like to cook, garden, read and hang out with my -year-old chihuahua, a sweet and gentle 8-pound companion who gets along easily with other animals and people. She defies every negative chihuahua stereotype and is a favorite at her doggy daycare. She is the best snuggle buddy anyone could ask for. She lived with her two # dog sisters for most of her life. She likes cats too. As a minimalist, I live simply, keep things tidy, and appreciate quiet, welcoming spaces. I don't smoke, vape, or use any illicit substances. I might have a drink once or twice a year. I'm vegan but don't expect people around me to follow my dietary choices, food is personal. I believe in treating everyone with kindness and compassion. Starting in the fall of , I’ll be working as a FoodCorps Service in Springdale and I am enrolled in an online horticulture Bachelor’s program, so I’ll be busy with work and studying.
I value clear, respectful communication. If I make a mistake, I take responsibility and do everything I can to make it right and learn from it. I’ve always told my children, “Do your best to leave any place you go better than you found it,” and I strive to live by that in all that I do.
I hope to find a cozy place to call home while I’m in Arkansas.
