Hello, my name is Charity, and I’m a mother of beautiful children. I never thought I’d be in this position — heartbroken, lost, and pleading for help — but today, I am. While we were on a short family vacation in Miami, something unimaginable happened: our home caught fire. Everything we had was destroyed. We are now stranded in a city far from home, with no place to live and no resources to start over. I just started a job at the hospital, and I’m trying to stand strong for my children, but I’m overwhelmed. Every dollar I had was spent on this trip, and we’re now left with nothing — no home, no clothes, no stability. Just fear, exhaustion, and prayers for mercy. My name is Charity, and today I’m asking for just that — charity.
