About me
To contact me sooner, follow me on Hey! I'm a M software engineer moving to NYC for my first full-time role (Midtown-based, WFH Mondays and Fridays). Looking for a room in Astoria—budget up to $ whether it's my share in a flatshare or my own space. Open to joining an existing lease or buddying up to find a spot together. I'm looking for a home—not just a place to crash. I’m big on sharing space respectfully but meaningfully: I like having friends and coworkers over from time to time, hosting dinner nights, or even the occasional small party if everyone’s into it. The apartment will always be clean and orderly—I'm a good cook, I clean as I go, and I’m pretty organized in shared spaces. I want my roommate to feel equally welcome to bring good energy and good people into the home. I’d love to live with someone who enjoys food—not just eating it, but maybe cooking too, or at least respects when I drop a few bills on some rare imported cheese. Ideally someone I can connect with socially—sharing a drink, swapping playlists, watching something after work, or heading out to explore the city’s food and music scenes. A bit more about me: – I’ve lived in + countries, studied abroad in Taiwan, and love language-learning, late-night walks, and hole-in-the-wall food missions. – Into jazz (I play sax, but never at home), points-hacking, and tech projects. – Very chill during the week, more active on weekends. – Non-smoker, no pets please, always down to share a meal or clean the kitchen while we catch up. If you're someone who wants a peaceful but social, clean but lived-in home, with a roommate who’s thoughtful, curious, and has great soy sauce, hit me up. Open to buddying up for a July move-in!
