About me
Originally hailing from Columbus, Ohio, I grew up constantly “looking up”🛫.
While playing JV & Varsity basketball all 4 years in college, I also became a Mechanical Engineer (with an Aircraft Design emphasis). My goal was to be a very fit engineer whose focus was on aviation as a profession.
As life/fate would have it though, I spent some time working in the Mining / Construction-Engineering and Marketing fields, at Caterpillar Inc. instead. I kept my sights on aviation by initially working on a 4 person kit aircraft called the RV-, manufactured by VAN’s aircraft. After building the entire Empennage and Wings, I took the money that I pocketed from the sale of the partially completed airplane and I put myself thru aviation school -including becoming a Certified Flight Instructor at American Flyer’s Pompano Beach, Florida.
With my Multi Engine Instrument Instructor rating, along with a fortuitous situation that presented itself, I became the sole pilot in a Twin Engine Cessna for an insurance company, in Boca Raton, FL for four consecutive years.
From twenty-twenty until present I have exclusively been flying Gulfstreams. I have flown to over forty countries throughout the world. If it’s not obvious already, I’m a bit of an “airhead”.😜🛫
