About me
I am a -year-old single male with the sweetest, cutest, emotional support dog ever! His name is Sebastian, or Bash, for short. I am originally from N.C. I earned my BA at the UNC Wilmington, lived in Charlotte, and, most recently, before relocating to Florida in , the Outer Banks.
I chose SWFL because I wanted to be in a growing city with plenty of job opportunities and warm weather year-round. I also had wonderful recommendations for Fort Myers/Naples from 2 close friends who lived here previously.
In , I earned my master's degree in Nonprofit Management from Northeastern University. Since then, I have held a variety of roles in the nonprofit sector, marketing, and communications. Currently, I work as a Technical Writer for an engineering firm based out of Cape Coral.
In my free time I enjoy taking my dog to the dog park, playing acoustic guitar, reading, going to church (non-denominational), and hanging out by the pool or my favorite local kava tea bar, mainly. to shoot pool with friends. I love good live music but still need to get in better touch with the local scene, as I was with local music on the Outer Banks.
I have a 5-year plan that does not include dating or any "situationship" for at least 3 years so I can remain focused on my personal and professional S.M.A.R.T. goals. I do not drink or use rugs recreationally. However, I have no problem with roommates who drink casually and occasionally -- no heavy drinkers or illicit drug users allowed in the condo.
