Waterfront home (room for rent)

Description

House on the water with private room and private bathroom for rent in Norfolk. Our current roommate is planning for deployment and will be moving out soon and my husband and I are looking for a new roommate to move in with us. The room is located on the first floor just off of the dining room with an attached private bathroom. The room will be furnished (full sized bed, dresser, nightstand and some other small bathroom things). The house has street parking located in a quiet neighborhood off of Granby street ~ minutes away from downtown Norfolk and from East beach. The house is located on a large lot with waterfront views and scenic, quiet yard.

My husband and I are both and are hoping to rent out the room to someone who is around our age () and is single with no pets- as we already have a medium sized Australian shepherd and I am unfortunately allergic to cats. Monthly rent includes all utilities, the house uses gas baseboard heating and central air conditioning. My husband is military and I work at the hospital downtown so we have early mornings and early nights on working days but like having fiends over for dinner or drinks on the weekends when possible. We’re both pretty clean and organized and do not smoke and would like to find someone who is like minded and can move in with us!
