Hi!
We’re Summers Cleary and Jeremiah Gorske and we are looking for a roommate or roommates (couple) to rent a room month to month in our house at a vastly reduced rate in exchange for pet care.
We have two wonderful dogs - Walter and a Lucy - and two lovely cats - Lima Beans and Lottie, and active chickens (unnamed but you could christen them!!)
We are planning on travelling intermittently and internationally for weeks to months at a time - starting out with a few weeks and building our way up. You will only be responsible for pet care while we are away, but will share the house with us while we are home.
The expectation would be that this person is kind and loving and would treat our pets as their own when we are travelling:
• minimum one walk a day for the dogs
• Love and snuggles for all
• Basic care and feeding and maintaining their needs
• Hikes and runs on weekends for the dogs
• Collecting eggs and enjoying them and caring for chickens
• Vet visits if needed
We have a three bedroom, 1 bath house with an unfinished basement, backyard, and large garden in the front. This person would be responsible for maintaining the house as well as pet care while we are away.
• Rent at $ a month, utilities included (open to discussion regarding the rental rate)
• House has central heating and air conditioning, washer/dryer, full kitchen, prime location near Spring Canyon park, CSU Campus, and downtown Fort Collins (about minutes from all)
In summary, a low rent compared to rates in Fort Collins and a house to yourself while we are travelling in exchange for excellent and loving pet care.
