Looking for a chill, responsible roommate to share a cozy -bath ranch in Royal Oak starting Aug 1. The house is ~ sq ft on a corner lot with a fenced yard and a great patio (string lights + comfy seating!). It's less than a mile to downtown and directly across from a beautiful park. Open to any gender roommate, though I’d prefer not to live with a straight male (sorry, just trying to avoid awkward vibes!).

The available room is in a clean, mostly quiet, shoe-free home. I WFH days/week, value tidiness, and split chores weekly. I try to keep a consistent sleep/workout routine ( pm bedtime, am wakeup), and for clear, respectful communication. House includes an electric stove, dishwasher, washer/dryer in the basement, and a garage (for storage, snow emergencies, and parking while away). Basement is unfinished but has a makeshift guest space, hangout zone, and soon a small home gym.

No pets currently, but open to one if yours is well-behaved. My niece and nephew stay for about a week each in summer and winter, so being kid-friendly is a plus. I occasionally have friends over, but the vibe is chill overall. Guests—especially overnight—should be discussed ahead of time.
