Room in friendly and clean house

Description

The room for rent is the biggest bedroom ( sq ft), with a large closet and its own half bathroom. $ + utilities starting beginning of August & I am flexible on move in date. The room is unfurnished. Utilities include internet, water, electric, and gas. When split between myself and another person it averages to be $/month each.

A great housemate fit would be someone who shares leftist politics (feminist, BLM, Pro-Palestine, LGBTQ friendly), values open communication, and will proactively help maintain a clean, neat, and warm home space. Many of my friends are gay and I identify as queer so it is an non-negotiable that you are comfortable with that! Also no MAGA, people who voted for Trump or people who are "not political." Must be an animal lover as I have both a dog and cat.

The house is -bedroom with big windows, vaulted ceilings, and a fenced in back yard. There is one full bath (with a shower & tub) and a half bath. We will share the shower in the full bathroom and the half bath is primarily yours to use. The house is fully furnished and well cared for. I have a 3-year-old Australian shepherd mix (high energy, smart, and sweet) and an indoor-outdoor 7-year-old orange tabby cat (very social and friendly). The 3rd bedroom is a guest room/office.

A little about me and how I live in the home: I’m a nurse in her mid-s and enjoy going out dancing, traveling, and being outdoors. I’m starting graduate school in August and will work part-time in the hospital. I am very tidy, generally on the quiet side, an extroverted introvert who enjoys spending time with friends and family. Prefer someone who is looking to be friends as well as housemates (ie share a meal together every so often).

Pets: No more cats sorry! Open to another dog moving in if its the right fit. My dog is a sweetheart but reactive so someone who feels very comfortable around dogs is a must.
