Private Room, Big Common Spaces

We are two professionals looking for a third housemate. The available bedroom shares one full bathroom and one half bathroom. We are looking for an outgoing person who is comfortable with us hosting a weekly game night on Fridays. We have a cat.

The House: Lots of common space – two living rooms, a dining room, a garage, and a fenced backyard. We use the living room with a huge bay window as a communal office space. Half the office can be a workspace for our new housemate. We currently have fiber internet, a symmetric 1 gigabit connection ideal for web hosting.

The Location: A safe, quiet neighborhood less than minutes’ drive from Costco, Safeway, Sprouts, Oakridge, and downtown Campbell. We are within biking distance of Foxworthy Shopping Center. There is always ample street parking near the house.

The Room: The available bedroom has a sunny garden-facing window, a built-in wall shelving unit, two light fixtures, and a standard closet.

The Culture: We are politically left wing and support the bodily autonomy and basic human rights of all people. We host a weekly game night where we play Dominion, Codenames, Jackbox games, etc. We like to talk about politics, technology, science, video games, and mental health. We have friends who occasionally visit and stay over for a night or two. We leave our Halloween and Pride decorations up all year.

The Residents:
* John lives in the master bedroom. He is a software engineer that enjoys building things, from soldering together custom keyboards to assembling server clusters. Generally reserved, he is an avid gamer (both tabletop and video) and fan of strange beers.
* Jessica lives in the bedroom adjacent to the available bedroom. She is an extroverted software engineer who likes gaming, writing, dancing, car camping, and hosting events.
