Hi! I’m looking for a reliable roommate to share a cozy, light-filled -bath apartment in Somerville, MA, just a 5-minute walk (give or take your stride) from the Davis Square Red Line station. The lease starts July 1, and I’d love to get everything signed soon. If you're interested in a move-in, we can certainly negotiate that!

About the Apartment:

Top floor of a 2-unit house on a quiet residential street

In-unit washer/dryer (no quarters, no drama)

Dishwasher, basement storage, and front & back porches

Plenty of natural light and a good cross-breeze


About the Room:

You’ll get the larger bedroom with a spacious closet. (Photos are of your future room—my current roommate is in the middle of packing.) I’ll be in the smaller room and using the shared office space.


Rent & Fees:

$/month each

Plus first month’s rent, one-month security deposit, and a (discounted) broker’s fee

Utilities run about ~$/month each, depending on the season


About Me:

I’m a nonprofit grant writer in my late s. I work in the office a couple days a week and from home the rest. I’m a bookworm, a knitter, a concert-goer, and a Somerville Theatre . I like a home that’s warm, tidy, and peaceful.


What I’m Looking For:

Someone who’s thoughtful, communicative, and down for the occasional Netflix night—but also values quiet, independent time. Bonus if you’re creative, curious, or into sharing the occasional pot of tea (or a beer). Social is great, but not a party apartment.
