Description

We are a queer coop in the early organizing stages of shifting from an “affordable housing project” with landlord to a shared equity model. We are looking for roommates with a long term interest in developing this project.

What’s shared equity?

A portion of everyone’s rent goes into purchasing shares in the property value of the house, which will be bought back from them upon exiting the house according to the property value appreciation. Essencially, not throwing away rent each month!

Rent: /month + utilities (pre-shared equity)
2nd floor bed room with street view
Shared: Living Room, Art Room, Porch, Garden, Patio, Basement Dining Room, Kitchen,
Washer/Dryer Set & Dishwasher
Room Does Not Come Furnished (except shelf & lighting)
Shared Tools, Paint, Etc
