We are looking for a grad student or working professional female roommate to join myself and my roommate Emily. Emily is a social worker and I work in an animal emergency hospital. We are are pretty laid-back and can often be found doing some sort of craft, watching movies, playing games or having friends over. The house features four separate shared living areas (a living room, a family room, sunroom and outside patio) creating lots of opportunity to spread out and relax as desired. The available bedroom is a large with a shared bathroom. The house has recently been remodeled with new flooring, paint and kitchen. There is central AC and heat and a brand-new no fee washer and dryer downstairs. There is a very large fenced in backyard perfect for gardening, relaxing, or enjoying the fire pit and outdoor patio.
We are looking for someone who is considerate and mindful of keeping shared spaces clean particularly in the kitchen as I have celiac disease. Gluten in the house is totally okay, just asking for mindful cleanup and avoiding cross-contamination. Shared responsibility for cleaning all common areas.
The home is in a super central location just off the Beltline and Rimrock close to the Alliant Energy Center, making it easy to get to the West Side, East Side, University or Downtown. There is a bus line at the end of the block and plenty of free street parking for yourself and guests.
Rent is $/month plus shared utilities. Yard care and larger snow removal are included in the rent. This is a non-smoking home with cats.
