Howdy! My name is Adam and I’m a childless 35-year-old man looking for a roommate in Brevard, NC! I am currently taking an extended break from my corporate software job and now work part-time teaching computer science at Brevard College. I spend a lot of time outside cycling in one of the forests, but otherwise I am in my room playing video or board games with friends online. I cook infrequently but in large quantities to meal prep. I am vegan and have some quirks about disposing of animal product containers but I can live with a non-vegan. I am more concerned with clutter than cleanliness but I am generally a clean person. I have a few good friends in town but I generally hang out with them elsewhere.

This past year I have been living with my neighbor’s brother but unfortunately he lost his job due to government spending cuts as has to move away. Before that I lived here with my then girlfriend for a year. I am excited to meet who might come next!

The place is one half of a duplex conveniently located beside the Ingles in Brevard with a great walking/cycling route to the Brevard College campus. In the other half of the duplex live a recently married mid-20s couple who work remotely in the software industry. They love to play board games and ride bikes too. I have no living room or kitchen furniture and store my 4-5 bikes inside instead of a car outside. The place has 1.5 bathrooms, but the upstairs bathroom with the shower is a Jack and Jill which requires a little coordination. I currently occupy the smaller room. The larger room does overlook the yard of a daycare so if you work from home that sometimes might be a little annoying.

I am not the landlord. The landlord owns several identical duplexes in the area and will require signing a 1-year lease and a $35 background check through Zillow.
